Liverpool, Nova Scotia. Our club has a long history of serving our community's greatest
need, celebrating our 72nd anniversary in November,
The Kinsmen Club of Liverpool is located on the beautiful south shore of Nova
Scotia in Liverpool, Queens County, Nova
Kinsmen members are part of a volunteer organization
"Kin Canada" that serve to enrich our communities through service while embracing national pride, positive values, personal development and lasting friendships.
The association boasts a proud 88-year history dedicated to fostering life-long friendships while 'Serving the Community's Greatest Need.'
The association governs both Kinsmen (men's) as well
as Kinette (women's) clubs across Canada. The
Liverpool charter of the Kinette Club was in service
from 1946 and disbanded at the end of the 2012/2013
The Kinsmen Club of Liverpool was chartered on November 7,
1945 by the Kinsmen Club of Halifax. The Liverpool Club was the 131st club in the association. The Club was incorporated under a private Members Bill in 1947.
The Kinsmen meet regularly at the Lions Hall (Gorham St., Liverpool) or Kinsmen residences on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of
every month, September through June. Contact any

Since 1945, the Kinsmen Club of Liverpool has raised and expended over
$800,000.00 on Service Projects in our community.
Our current major fundraising projects include:
-Liverpool Privateers Days Chip Booth
-Hank Snow Music Festival Chip Booth
-Big Brothers/Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake
-TV Bingo (KINGO)
Funds from these projects have been distributed through the community wherever there has been a need.

» KINSMEN BURSARIES:
The Liverpool Kinsmen Bursary was set up
by the Kinsmen Club of Liverpool in memory of the late
Roy Yarn (a long time member of the Liverpool Kinsmen
Club). Two bursaries, in the amount of $1,500.00 per
school, are offered annually to students at the
North Queens Rural High School and Liverpool Regional
High School, who will be continuing their
education at university, college, or community

The Kinsmen Club of Liverpool is also proud to provide volunteer workers and sponsor the canteen for the
Canadian Blood Services Blood Donor Clinics at the
Liverpool Fire Hall. We also volunteer time
throughout the year at community events such as the
Hospital Hustle, Curling for Cancer, Salvation Army
Christmas Cheer Boxes, and with Hillsview Acres.
The Kinsmen Club of Liverpool is proud of our past. With such a great past we can only
look to the future to continue our fine contributions.
With the continued support of the community, we can
continue 'Serving the Community's Greatest Need' for
many years to come.
