WELCOME:
Welcome to the Kinsmen Club of Liverpool, Nova Scotia. Our club has a long history of serving our community's greatest need, celebrating our 70th anniversary in November, 2015.

The Kinsmen Club of Liverpool is located on the beautiful south shore of Nova Scotia in Liverpool, Queens County, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Kinsmen members are part of a volunteer organization "Kin Canada" that serve to enrich our communities through service while embracing national pride, positive values, personal development and lasting friendships.  The association boasts a proud 88-year history dedicated to fostering life-long friendships while 'Serving the Community's Greatest Need.'  The association governs both Kinsmen (men's) as well as Kinette (women's) clubs across Canada.  The Liverpool charter of the Kinette Club was in service from 1946 and disbanded at the end of the 2012/2013 year.

The Kinsmen Club of Liverpool was chartered on November 7, 1945 by the Kinsmen Club of Halifax. The Liverpool Club was the 131st club in the association. The Club was incorporated under a private Members Bill in 1947.

The Kinsmen meet regularly at the Lions Hall (Gorham St., Liverpool) or Kinsmen residences on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of every month, September through June.  Contact any member of the club or send us an email at Liverpool_Kinsmen@yahoo.comWe will respond to you with the upcoming location.

Two bursaries, in the amount of $1,500.00 per school, are offered annually to students at the North Queens Rural High School and Liverpool Regional High School, who will be continuing their education at university, college, or community college.
For more information and application details on these bursaries, please contact the High School guidance councilor.

The Kinsmen Club of Liverpool is proud of our past. With such a great past we can only look to the future to continue our fine contributions. With the continued support of the community, we can continue 'Serving the Community's Greatest Need' for many years to come.
